01 — About NSIS
From "what if?" to a working idea
Nepal's students hold an extraordinary spark of creativity. What they often lack is the opportunity to channel that creativity into real-world impact. NSIS began with a simple belief: give students room to imagine, make and share, and they will discover their own entrepreneurial power. Jointly organized by Monastic School/College, NYEF Janakpur Chapter and Karkhana, NSIS 3.0 returns in 2026 bolder and bigger — helping students not just unlock their potential, but transform their ideas into action that matters.

Good to know before you register
Who can take part?
Student teams from Grades 4–12, brought by a registering teacher. Every school competes on the same three-day format regardless of size or location.
How much does it cost?
Early bird (until 17 October 2026): NPR 7,500 per participant residential, NPR 5,000 non-residential. After that, standard pricing applies: NPR 8,500 residential, NPR 6,000 non-residential.
How many students can one school bring?
Up to 5 participants per registration. A school bringing a larger group simply submits a second registration for the next set of 5.
What does "residential" mean?
Residential covers stay and meals for the full three days on site. Non-residential is for teams commuting in daily — the fee is lower and covers participation only.
Where does it happen, and how do we confirm our seats?
At Monastic, Janakpurdham. Once you register, complete payment using the details shown on this page and send proof on WhatsApp — that confirms your seats.
