She is the wife of Late Dr. Mithilesh Kumar Sah. She is Founder and Director of
Dr. Mithilesh Memorial Cancer Foundation. She is also Founder of Monastic School. After seeing the pain and struggle of her husband due to cancer, she thought of taking a stand to help other cancer patients who are in deep trouble due to the disease. She was with her husband for the last 3 years fighting cancer together and due to lack of proper treatment in Nepal, she had to go to Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai,India for the treatment. Those 3 years staying away from home for treatment was challenging emotionally and financially. As in cancer, the whole family gets involved and it becomes more difficult if the main person earning in the family is having cancer.She learned there that lots of people from Nepal are coming for the treatment of cancer in India and are facing huge challenges to survive. Seeing these situation her husband Late Dr. Mithilesh Kumar Sah made his last wish to his wife , to help cancer patients. In Nepal people face difficulties due to lack of awareness, financial burden and improper health infrastructure.As her son, daughters daughter in law and son in law are all medical doctors she planned to open cancer hospital and help cancer patients in all possible ways.
