He is the elder son of Late Dr. Mithilesh Kumar son. He graduated with his MBBS from Nepal Medical College (Kathmandu University). After the passing of his father, he started to manage the school which was established by his father. As the school was established in 1986 and has around 300 staff members and 4000 students, there was huge responsibility to be taken when his father was fighting with cancer. He was focused in only one direction to fulfill his father’s dream to establish quality education for students of Nepal and help cancer patients. He established the cancer foundation with the help of his mother and started with small steps by organizing awareness campaigns and financial support to the needy cancer patients. He and his family have plans to establish a proper cancer treatment center which will help the people with lower financial income.
